In support of World Tai Chi Day, UK Tai Chi joins this global event by hosting a gathering of Tai Chi players in York. To celebrate the union of Tai Chi supporters across the World on this auspicious day for Tai Chi and Qigong, we open the doors to everyone doing or interested in Tai Chi and Qigong.
With demonstrations and workshops, students of UK Tai Chi gather together in a common bond to support this global event. With Tai Chi, teas and buns in our lovely sunny hall - what better way to spend a few hours.
World Tai Chi and Qigong day was originally the brain child of Bill Douglas in the US of A www.worldtaichiday.org Bill sates:
'World Tai Chi & Qigong Day's global efforts to encourage education, government, business, and health care to incorporate Tai Chi & Qigong into all levels of society, have profound global implications’.
World Tai Chi Day is celebrated around the world on the last day of April every year.
